You may be interested in a better looking nose but have you considered a low-risk, less painful and lower cost choice?
Standard, surgical rhinoplasty requires at least seven to 10 days of downtime, considerable expense and some pain.
But there is an option – provided the only changes you need are on the outside of your nose. That choice? Non-surgical rhinoplasty. You probably already know that non-surgical anything has become more popular. And for good reasons. (Continued below.)

(Continued.)Non-surgical rhinoplasty can’t make a large nose smaller although it may appear smaller after both sides of the nose are balanced and after nasal marks, dents and depressions are filled in. Even if your nose has a hump, filling in the surrounding tissue can make the nose appear straight as a ruler.
Also known as injection rhinoplasty, non-surgical rhinoplasty can raise a flat bridge (popular with Asian patients) or make a large tip appear smaller, something that is popular among people of African background. A “saddle nose” — which looks like a typical boxer’s nose — can also be made to look straight.
How is injection rhinoplasty done? First, the nasal skin is numbed and tiny, micro-droplets of the filler are injected just under the skin to plump out the affected areas.
However, Juvederm, Restylane and other facial fillers dissolve back into the body, making it a very expensive proposition to keep a nice-looking nose.
But if the cosmetic surgeon is using tiny amounts Artefill or Silikon 1000, patient and doctor must wait about four to six weeks to see the results. That’s because the body’s natural defenses build a wall around the micro-droplets and that’s what plumps sunken areas out and up. At the next session, patient and surgeon look the enhancement over and decide if more filler is needed or if the nose is good to go.
Some years ago, silicone anything received a bad rap from unethical practitioners who squirted large amounts of silicone into a single large area – like the buttocks – where it can migrate around the body.
Since, it’s been well proven that the 50-year-old technique of using Silikon 1000 micro-drops is both safe and effective. (Read more of what science knows about non-surgical rhinoplasty.)
The only other downside? You won’t be able to have surgical rhinoplasty after having injection rhinoplasty with Silikon 1000 or Artefill.
